This specific one (uploading desktop screenshots and personal information) has been going on for months with lots of different games, not just Cross Days. 1.Why would you be downloading something of shady origin? If something new comes out, wait a few days so that you know the download you're using comes from a trusted source and that other people aren't having problems.

2.Anti-virus software is annoying. I could simply reinstall my OS if I managed to screw my computer up that bad, and in the several years I've had this computer, I've never had problems (nor have I been running any kind of anti-virus software).
