Turns out that it's release date is September 30th, and will be censored with Mosaics for 20$. This also has the Fandisc version sold separately for 15$. There is a pre order discount on MG. It's also on Steam. I do have to wonder if this will be the game case as usual where it's censored on Steam but there will need to be an 18+ patch off site or if Steam does not care on this due to its violent nature.

In practice, for VNs the biggest problem with Steam has been the random perma-bans (which Valve seemed to have backed off for roughly a year after the Chaos;Head rejection, but have started up again) rather than the variable content restrictions, something like Muramasa could have easily been resubmitted with whatever content Valve happened to object to had it not got perma-banned. After that, the next biggest problem would be the unexplained extended review process when a reviewer just doesn't want to move things along (it took NekoNyan months to be told that their first submitted build of Aoi Tori was too "incomplete" by the reviewer who reviewed it).

Though yeah, obviously things are never going back to the period when Evenicle was allowed on the platform uncensored.
