Not sure if this is the real deal (since there's yet to show up any news on the main page) but that installer is bullocks. You have to run it in japanese locale so it can install to japanese named folders, and even if you do that it won't get it quite right.

My game's installed to C:\games\永遠のアセリア -この大地の果てで-, so I had to rename it before being able to apply the patch.

Not complaining or anything since at least it worked some way or other, just posting to let others know (and maybe that guy who "worked so hard on the installer")
