So Dakkodango trans, http://dakkodango.com/, is putting the final touches on their translation for Eien no Aselia. I remember seeing a couple episodes of the OVA forever ago, but how is this game overall /jp/?
What should someone expect from the game? Is it actually fun?

The sex scenes in Aselia were kinda shitty so it's no a big loss.
And the version they translated is the complete one with the add-on added, it's a good trade up.

Though there is one thing they removed in the all ages version that should have been there, they shortened the first chapter a lot.
The first chapter, that takes place in the normal world and has no fights, took about 3 hours to play through in the original.
It really took the time to introduce Yuuto, his sister and friends throughly.
The all ages version shortened the first chapter to about 20 minutes.

Well I guess Xuse listened to the complains of those who wanted to get to the action quicker.

Yeah that's a shame.
I usually go through them as quickly as possible, but with a game as long as this, you're bound to get attached to a heroine and want to see her sex scene, even if it's bad, like most are.
Plus there's an evil route that we wont get to experience.
