Do you guys happen to know if there's any considerable presence of alternate history otakus in Japan?
I'm asking this mostly out of curiosity, seeing how Japan seems to be comparatively lacking in the speculative fiction department, especially when put beside the infinitely more prolific English-speaking world.

Cue people making cracks about their whitewashed history textbooks being to all intents and purposes alternate history material. I know someone is going to say it.

I don't even know what you're asking and I don't think I care.

Why are you so much of a shitposter, CurryAss?
I swear, if I were to comb through all the posts you made so far I would come across about two or three which are somehow constructive, or at least pertinent to the topic.

Try /kr/, Korea invented alternate history.

This seems like a genuinely interesting topic, but I do not think you are going to get much help here.

I went to wikipedia, typed in alternate history, and clicked 日本語. Enjoy, because I sure as fuck am not reading this.

Currybutt is a sentient hand puppet. He types all of his posts with his finely woven eyeballs.

Why do you have to post Turtledove and make me rage at this time of night?

>> No.4678438

>>4678389
I see nothing wrong with posting Turtledove in an alternate history thread. I figure there must be a deep-seated dislike for him behind your reaction, maybe one involving his works.
Did he put your people under an unfavorable light in one of his books, by any chance? If so, I'm sorry for you but I have to hand it to him that the Confederate Nazis were pretty cool.

Large time delay
Suspiciously polite post
Likes alternate history

It's impossible for you to make a mistake. It's okay, we all have Aspergers here.

>Large time delay
10 minutes isn't that large a delay when you have a lifestyle as frantic and eventful as mine.
>Suspiciously polite post
Were you expecting a rageful post? If this is the case, then sorry to disappoint.
>Likes alternate history
Better than liking little girls in frilly dress, or convoluted Cluedo-inspired novels.
