Hinamizawa syndrome was not meant to be a thing in the start. That's a bullshit explanation later retconned by the gamemaster. There was an actual Oyashiro-sama alternate explanation. Ryukishi had different plans for the story.

Higurashi is therefore an unreliable story with a scrapped story path. All you see is fake and Takano is the actual hero.

Satoko is only ever established to be on L5 meds on the ANSWER ARCS. Never on the question arcs. The question arcs only mention she goes to Dr. Irie, but it is never mentioned what for. For all we know, she could be undergoing some kind of experimental psychological experiments sponsored by the Sonozakis and Rika. Also did you ever wonder, why did Mion and Rena approach K1 during his schizo stage when they could have waited for Dr Irie and his men to take care of him when it was proven he was dangerous when K1 smashed Rena’s fingers on the door? Im imagining a VN similar to Higurashi, but its set in the Americas before the arrival of the Europeans, and it explores the various customs and legends from across different cultures. Theres probably some connecting thread (like maybe the MC is the same "soul" or is related in some way, or maybe its just their role in the village or something (a kid, maybe a bit of an outcast) that ties the stories together. Theres definitely some suffering and the MC is the victim of human sacrifices and the like.
then the "answers" arcs is basically when the Euros come and they fuck them all up and then they convert everyone and thats how the suffering ends. The soul of the MC finally ascends to heaven instead of hanging around in these cursed civilizations and The Message is basically that only G-d can save you

Theres also the mention of Unit 731, and the flesh-eating stuff
(For example you could theorize by this point that the unnammed affliction K1 has in Arc1 is caused due to accidentally eating human flesh)

It's not crazy to predict Hinamizawa syndrome/hallucinations in some capacity, although I can't imagine someone getting all the rules/symptoms correct(which is fine). Like you said the focus on the Irie clinic is important.
That scene in Tatari where Keiichi runs into Takano post-murdering Teppei makes it painfully obvious that she's the big bad or at least on their side. But you really have no idea what her deal is until Minagoroshi/Matsuri.

For the first handful of chapters you can get a lot of the way there to actually understanding what happened, but you'll never fully get things right until the answer arcs.
Higurashi definitely plays with its drip-feed of information through the chapters and TIPs. Sometimes you'll learn something that isn't super important to the current chapter but reveals something about an earlier chapter. Like how learning more about Satoshi gives context to how Mion and Rena talk about him back in Oni. Or Mion playing body janny in Tsumi makes it even clearer that's what she did when K1 killed Teppei.

There is a scene where Mion and Rena call Keiichi to tell him something in the junkyard, but then Mion leaves first and Keiichi refuses going with Rena alone. She then just lets him go rather than saying anything and after that he doesn't see them again. Rena really should have spilled things there.

I don't get this either because Umineko's culprit is abdundantly clear from the beginning. There are so many hints and so much foreshadowing towards Shkanontrice in legend, and I daresay its clever too. When Maria talks about having been delivered Beatrice's letter, if you go back and really think logically, the only person that was able to deliver said letter to her was Kanon. But most people don't think of that because you still think Kanon is a guy at that point and barely anyone expects that answer. When Gohda says to Genji to "Leave only the ladies to their work" and to leave them alone, he and Genji completely ignore Kanon's existance for seemingly no reason, and so does the reader that doesn't catch it. Tons of small details like this are all over the earlier episodes and I rarely ever see people give credit to him for those things.

It's one of those things where, if you go by the knowledge you have at the time and think about it in sequence, the answer becomes somewhat obvious with just how much its hinted towards. Kanon is the one who would've crossed Maria's path from the guesthouse and the main house and Kanon is the one who pretty much ''leads'' everyone else to Maria by reminding them of her absence. Again, logically speaking, Kanon is most likely even if Rosa is also technically possible.

Jessica even jokes about any of the servants putting on a dress and delivering the letter and she and Battler laugh it off, but the narration still mentions it might not completely be a joke. The narrative practically beats you over the head with hints that Kanon is Beatrice but to the vast majority of first-time readers, it all goes over their head.

I don't believe Sayo's motives were ever that different because Umineko establishes all these things so early on that you'd have to completely change the whole narrative to come to a different outcome. Roles could've been changed between different characters, and plot devices could've served different purposes but I believe it was always meant to come to a similair outcome, R07 justt changed the means in which he decided to send the message; Almost any written work undergoes changes like this during its development. I finally read Loopers and was overall not very impressed with it. There were good parts but there was practically no meat to it whatsoever and 80% of the characters didn't have reasons to exist. Jessica is just as humanized and highlights her emotions as much as everyone elseand has a nuanced mindset and inner conflict between what she wants and what she struggles with. She also ha ssome parallels with Sayo with her view on her ''double life'', and it shows the wieght of multiple perspectives in how she sees herself and how the world sees her. Also thematically relevant in her blindness towards Sayo's struggles, adding to the cycle of ignorance in the family. Jessica doesn't get enough credit for how nuanced she is, just like the majority of other Umineko characters.

Really don't get where the whole ''Jessica is stupid'' thing came from because at worst, she's an average teenager. Also not to mention its heavily implied she knew about Kinzo's death and intentionally hid it because she knows her parents are in debt, you can tell from her dialogue in the question arcs, she isn't stupid.

Jessica was just pulling a prank on Yasu, seeing how many dates they could go on to LARP as a male. She never expected the murder mystery chuuni to come out though

This scene is overblown as a Shkanon hint. The only reason Kanon doesn't say anything to Gohda is because Genji stops him by patting his shoulder- in other words, Genji doesn't ignore Kanon at all. You could still say it's a hint because Genji is in on it so he can still "see" Kanon or whatever, but it's not as clear cut as its made out to be.
