I've been a quick shooter my whole life. For years I've been working at it but I haven't been consistent enough. I got a Venus Real in regular 5+ years ago.

What is a good onahole for edging for hours?

this is just part of the 300$ doll tier in some aspects. Height is sometimes listed with head, sometimes just the torso, and sometimes its with one specific head and doesnt account for differences with other heads. Exact skeleton strech also plays a part and since your having an issue with it being canted that is probably affecting the total.

For the back issue, as the other anon mentioned laying it on its back and getting that mid point to flex is probably what you need to do, and its not unusual for joints to be a bit frozen after shipping.
You can try putting pressure on the upper torso(tit area if you can manage) and use both legs at once to try and lift the hip up. Use the legs as a big lever. It will probably crack or creek as the other anon mentioned as the joint gets free.

Ideally this shouldnt take a ginormous amount of pressure to move. skeletons are typically tube steel and the joints are steel and shitty welds on movement bolts. Hard to say the exact pressure needed, but it should be less than what it would take for you to snap a 2x4x6 in half if that makes any sense. If it feels like you are putting enough energy into it to bend steel, then you might be a bit too much.

Haven't fucked it yet and I have only owned toys before in case that is not obvious. Still, here are my initial impressions so far.
The good/neutral:
- The doll is far easier to move now that I have gained some experience. Having some basic knowledge of mechanics and imagination helps. Also as some dude pointed it out you have to be a bit rough. Being firm, but not forcing it too much is working very well for me so far. Also, going differently about positioning her than you would a real human helps too.
- The head is suprisingly good quality (see pic on the rentry). The long neck is a plus for me. It is very nice to grab, but looks a bit funny.
- The ass and tits are a nice suprise considering the $600 budget. I'm positively disappointed. The ass is hard and the tits are firm. The tits are maybe a bit on the harder rather than firmer side.

The bad:
- TPE at this scale is cold. I'm looking into buying a warming blanket that doesn't go too hot. A bit below 40C would be ideal.
- The wig they put in the box is nice to the touch, but the hair is falling out of it. Like it is everywhere. So to put it simply: it is a piece of shit. Need to buy a proper one for her.
- My sheet is made of cotton and my robes are made of whatever the fuck. For some reason this makes her constantly charged electrically. Whenever I touch the standing feet it shocks me.
- For some reason all the hair failing out of her wig stucks to her skin. Maybe it is the static charge issue or maybe it is just the TPE class material itself. Hard to say for now.
- I haven't had the time to clean my room as she arrived a day earlier than expected (I just changed my sheet instead), but everything else is also sticking to her skin.
