To me, the earlier stages are much harder than StB's early stages. Additionally, the danmaku is a lot more beautiful for the earlier stages in DS as well.

Where the hell are my replays and snapshots? The replays can be accessed in game, but there's no replay folder I can see. Also the snapshot button seems to work, but it only creates the snapshot folder. Nothing in it.

Also to answer your question, at just cleared 4-1. I saved a replay on the 21st spaces, but the replays from the main menu only go up to 20. I have no idea where it is. Also if you continually use the next scene option you can register the next level's stages as for the previous one. I was getting the level three stage replays registering as 2-7 through 2-10. And they didn't count properly. So I had to do them again. I don't remember UFO being this buggy when it just came out.

You can't press Z while focused moving. When you press Z and frame appears, you can move it over the screen using the direction buttons (it's size will decrease over time though). Focus it on the boss and let it go. The more danmaku in the frame the more points you get. X changes the frame shape.

Well I found my replays. They go to a newly made folder in my appdata. Also, if you go into the make a replay mode and you back out of it you can use the next scene option when you shouldn't. The scenes of the next level will be registered to the previous level and their score will be seperate. This counts for total in-game score so ZUN should probably patch it soon.

I'm very much enjoying the frame shaping.

I've cleared (almost) everything up level 5 (fuck you Momiji), and I found it pretty awesome so far. It's already raped me a lot, and it hurt. Especially that rope scene, goddamn, I don't think I'll ever clear that seeing how impatient I am.

I'm surprised at how I've beaten all of level 4 without any major problem, while in StB it took me days, weeks, whatevers to get that far. And then level 5 came and destroyed me.

...I hope the same thing happens here, even though I'd like to use Hatate in the future...

I like it a lot so far, although it seems easier than STB so far.

Game is pretty good so far. Pretty much just like StB, just more stages continuing on whatever the fucking reason aya slut is taking the pictures. Doesn't really offer anything new but didn't expect as much being a sequel and all.

In 2-6, It's probably obvious, but dodge all the red, and only take a shot of the blue knives.

Immediately after the shot, start charging. You should be okay getting through the red, even when charging, as long as you watch the red bullet paths and plan ahead. However, if you need to stop charging to get out of the way fast enough, then go ahead. If you know the shot won't charge in time, back off to make some time, charge, and make a defensive shot, and start charging again.

Another thing, don't hug the bottom of the screen. If you're at the bottom, you can't back up to dodge a bullet. Keep some room below you, so if a bullet is heading your way, you can move backward to give your head some time to think about where to go, then dodge appropriately.

Practice.

If you're solely focused on surviving, take a picture while she's shooting the hearts; you can remove half the hearts, and therefore half of the follow-up bullets which are giving you trouble before they can even hit you. Charge after the shot, since half the screen will be cleared out, then move to the other side. She gives you quite a bit of time to charge after each wave if I remember.

No, the Spoiler levels. They're like Phantasm in PCB, kinda. They come after Extra.

You do need to clear something like 58 other levels before you unlock them though. I think it was 58.

If you really have to dodge a stray bullet, then just stop charging for a split second, make a very quick movement, and then back to charging. Or just stop charging and dodge normally until the camera is ready again.
