If you think about it, Tatarigoroshi worlds are doomed from the moment Keiichi commits murder for Satoko's sake, even if we disregard HS and Tokyo's presence entirely.

Keiichi will forever have to live with the guilt of being a murderer, and no matter how much of a scumbag Teppei may have been, that will heavily weigh on his conscience.

Considering that almost everyone in the village is aware of his actions, Ooishi will forever be on his case, and Oryou will never allow him to marry into the Sonozaki family. They may even "ask" his family to leave Hinamizawa to get rid of a problem source, as they did in Watanagashi.

Satoko will eventually figure out what happened and come to despise herself and her weakness even further, being responsible to have not only turned her Nii-Nii into a murderer, but Keiichi as well.

My interpretation >> Beatrice in EP1-4 is Sayo putting up the act of Beatrice, in which she depicts herself as an inhuman and cruel monster due to her own guilt and layers of depression, it's very self-deprecating looking back. She's basically saying ''Look at what an evil bitch I am, I deserve to be hated''. Then in EP5 she's given up on Battler discovering the truth and game board Beatrice in that episode is much less aggressive towards Battler because it's Beatrice piloted by someone who's clueless to the heart of Beatrice and her resentment towards Battler for leaving her for 6 years. Lambda's fake Beato loses, Sayo's Beato outright dies.

Then, in EP6, Beatrice is revived by Battler, and she has to go on that same journey of discovering the truth about her existence in order to become whole once again. Battler traps himself on purpose in this chapter in order to help chick Beatrice realize her identity. Chick beatrice is like Sayo upon first becoming a witch and elder Beato is a more accurate representation of the actual legend of the witch Sayo heard so many stories about, they merge once chick Beatrice realizes the truth and Beatrice revives. In a sense, it can feel kind of ''fake'' considering this isn't the same Beato we've been seeing throughout EP1-5, but I interpret it as one of the cases where the meta world is being really symbolic. The original Beatrice won't return hence the red text, so instead of revived, she's completely reborn. (You could interpret it as the idea of the cruel golden witch Beatrice we see in EP1-4 dies and that the one that gets revived is Sayo herself instead of an act she puts up. Or you could interpret it as Battler/Tohya acceping she's dead and accepting chick Beato would require accepting magic in the golden land, which is kind of the point. Living as fiction in the memory of the living, Tohya.) It feels hollow kind of, the fact that the original Beato is dead and won't return, but I feel that's kind of the point. While Umineko is very heartwarming in the end thanks to Ange, it is still a tragedy. Sayo knows her life won't have a happy ending but EP6 gives her some catharsis

It's only about Sayo and Battler outside the meta world. The love trials and all the Beatrice's in EP6 are all really just Sayo's internal struggles. Her image of herself as a witch was broken by Battler's inability to remember his promise, but Battler did remember and brought her back which you can relate to the ending of EP8 where Battler finally remembers on the boat and they take off together after she's rebuilt her identity. (Then there's Beatrice's funeral in EP7 because she jumps off said boat). I sound a bit nonsensical and all over the place but I honestly have trouble writing down my thoughts about it at times, EP6 is likely my least favourite episode because of how vague it is, I don't really struggle as much with other chapters. There are a lot of interpretations you can make and it comes down to you. I get the general idea I think but it's difficult for me to wrap my head around, but I guess that's also kind of a good thing considering I enjoy thinking about Umineko

I actually have never thought about it this way. I assumed it was Sayo-Beatrice the player who died herself, so she will not come back. But if you separate these two, then indeed that Beatrice is dead and wont come back, but Sayo can. I dont know how important is this little detail, but Beatrice after her rebirth also calls him Battler-san, which confused me at first. But knowing Sayo also calls Battler with -san, it can serve as a further confirmation that it was indeed Sayo herself who was reborn, rather than the evil ep 1-4 Beatrice, who obviosly would never call Battler like that.

Spam has overtaken so food for thought for later; I hardly ever see anyone talk about the parallel between Shion and Ange when they're both really alike in the sense that they're both Anti-Sayo's. All three go through a very similair struggle with wantng love but feeling they are unable to grasp that love because they are fundamentally broken inside. But Shion and Ange eventually learn to live on and move past their burdens instead of letting their worldview become more and more twisted until it became too much for them to bear, like Sayo did. It's not just a mere reference to Higurashi that Ange goes to St. Lucia, I think R07 delibaretely made it that way because Ange would become such a similair character to Shion in what she represents. Does anyone else ever think about it? Shion and Watanagashi/Meakashi was the birth of R07's ''Without love, it cannot be seen'' theme imo, Ange really completes the idea Shion started.

Nanjo didn't really do anything other than keep his books clean, Rudolph I think did more than just throw money at the problem and the room was guarded by two people. There's no single point of failiure in the system, and Amakusa wasn't even employed by Eva by this point.
And again, she'd need to either be poisoned with something like Thallium that can't be detected on common tests, yet would still give the right symptoms to be passable as an unspecified terminal disease, or be chronically exposed to something without anyone knowing, which is nigh impossible. Even something as exotic and ridiculous as dimethylmercury would show up on a common heavy metals test, and that's before you get into the mismatch of chronic symptoms.

From a meta standpoint, it also violates Knox, which is a pretty weak defense but I think it still holds water in this case. When Umi violates Knox too blatantly, it's usually because it has to hide everything behind some ridiculous explanation so as to not spoil the rest of the story.
Eva died from some terminal disease, and was immensely paranoid to the end. The only way to have Ange kill her would be via an extraordinarily elaborate and mysterious setup that wouldn't show up on a common, or probably even an extensive autopsy if Eva freaked out and demanded it randomly, all while being in high school in a shared bedroom and miles away from the target when she fell sick.

Applying Occam's razor either gives us this highly improbable murder plot that more or less amounts to "We can't be certain Ange didn't kill her because we don't *know* everything was perfectly set up", or Eva died from natural causes, probably aggravated by stress and depression from losing her beloved son and husband.

Is it possible? In theory, yes. However, that's more or less like saying a witch did the Rokkenjima murders because someone said so and no one can say for sure otherwise. The whole point of the game is to find the correct path through the mystery, and avoid theoretically possible scenarios like how Question Arc Battler makes bullshit up in order to wind via absurdity, and find a logically sound way to show how they happened without resorting to "Trap X" and "Method Y" to give a handwavium answer without really knowing how it could be done.

Basically, I mean it as in Meakashi, we see Shion who has reached the point of no return as a way to understand another Shion that saved herself. Beatrice is the tragedy that shows Ange the mistakes she shouldn't make, they're perfectly alike in that regard. You can interpret the relationship between these characters in different ways but this is how I like to look at it.

What I mean by Anti-Sayo is that Shion quickly abandonded the hope of her love returning while Sayo held onto it, contrasting attitudes that led to similair outcomes. Sayo also wants to be understood whereas Shion doesn't want to be sympathized with whatsoever in Meakashi. The witch and the demon are identities they both use to project themselves onto to feel power in a life where they have felt powerless, and both carry immense guilt. Shion just wants pure and absolute punishment whereas Sayo wants to be understood. Shion eventually gets a second chance and moves on with forgiveness and empathy in her heart, whereas Sayo's death remains a tragedy. Ange does the same as Shion but the difference is that her story is the central subject of Umineko so it gets a lot more focus which is what I mean with Ange being a more complete version of the idea Shion began.

Meakashi and Watangashi are almost like an Umineko prototype to me, where R07 had to write two different perspectives for the same scenario, the Keiichi perspective (fantasy) and the Shion perspective (human). Both Sayo and Shion felt like they shouldn't have been born and both felt like they had to cling to a fleeting romance in order to cope when those feelings were very onesided and rooted in their own personal concerns and situations. In Meakashi, Shion is nigh identical to Sayo, but she gets the chance to move in the perfect world Rika eventually manages to create once everyone atones for their sins, finding strength in her maternal love for Satoko instead.

Arguably anything other than being stuck on Rokkenjima with a suicide bomb ready for whenever she wants to use it would've been better for her.
