Does anyone else have that moment when you’re watching an anime without subtitles without realizing, but you can understand everything they’re saying, but then when you realize you never had subtitles on, you stop understanding? Kinda strange

Before I properly learned Japanese I used to do that with hentai. Probably because the lines were extremely basic. Anything complex was impossible to understand.
