Normally I would say 90% of everything is shit but weighting the scales the blame mostly falls on the english localizers this time.
The market is very cutthroat so shit tends to get axed or abandoned by volume 2-3 rather quickly, but for whatever reason there's plenty of 10+ volume series that go under the radar for no reason, not even for puritan no-fanservice, no-loli no-violence reasons and instead they opt to localize those dropped 2-3 volume series on top of through localization change the target audience which dooms it entirely.

10+ volume series are a major financial risk for a company who is bound to a promise of not dropping a series halfway and there is no guarantee that what sells in Japan will sell to a foreign audience. Ignoring poor translation quality removing most if not all the depth of any given thing, what has to be considered is the EOP tendency to treat genres and mediums as sports teams which results on discussion centered about [genre] either under-performing or being dead while paradoxically not putting much weight on any individual thing.
In simple terms, if only shit that already got axed gets translated then people will consider the medium shit and proceed to care less.
Add the fact translations are of poor quality at best, active censorship and full rewrites at worst and people care even less.
The less people care, the less they are willing to spend or even pirate to begin with, and because this process actively antagonizes people that care by not translating what they want to read and when it gets translated it's just butchered, they are incentivized to just learn japanese and ignore translations altogether.

I know this will come off as antagonistic even when I don't exactly try to, but when it's just a single narrator it makes it incredibly hard to follow, narrations and dialogue melt together too much.
If it was like a drama CD I would understand it but at that point with how much effort it would take to voice each character individually I would rather just go off my imagination which also lets me imagine any VA I want if there's no anime yet.

What even is a "normal" fantasy lol. That aside there's a lot of stuff that matches your criteria, just open your eyes and look around instead of getting taken in by retarded eop presumptions. A lot are also translated like lodoss, slayers and sorceror orphen. There are even comparatively recent and famous ones like Kusuriya no hitorigoto, goblin slayer and danmachi (in a sense).
And isekaied mc's doesn't necessarily always follow the tropes you mention either, giving you stuff like honzuki or henderson's gospel (my personal fav)

I don't really feel that Dendro has much that could be called an asspull. It tends to hint that someone has "something" long before combat begins and the "something" is used, and even when it doesn't, you can oftentimes form such expectations based on the system itself. If a guy comes in and is introduced as "King of Farts," it's not at all surprising when he rips an atomic one mid-battle. And if someone has years of playtime and lots of victories under their belt, it's no shock that they have sick gear for any situation.
The series does have these parts that are all combat all the time, though, but I never saw that as a problem since it's essentially a battle manga in LN form. If it means anything, volume 15 is the perhaps the longest and combat-heaviest volume out of those released so far.

yeah i think that's why i began to get annoyed. this volume is just so much fighting and backstories between new villians. it isn't bad by any means i'm just burnt out because the same has been happening for so many volumes. you've got gloria, the babylon people, the king of dryfe, king of thieves/crimes/etc IF people, behmot etc. it just keeps introducing and going on with endless battles solely against this one kingdom.

i just wanna see some more normal progression. perhaps more of the labyrinth under altar or some other kind of adventure. the protagonist just cant get a break. between these battles its only mentioned in passing that he got a new job or got some new skill. thats the stuff i want to see more-so than these battles.i guess i'll get through the rest of the volumes before i make any conclusions on the story as a whole though.

Romance, character interaction, exploration? These are exhibited elsewhere in leagues and spans much more impressive but by no means can the same be true for battles.
