NTA but all you have to do is use a metadata viewer to see the prompt, steps, seed etc he used.

So I found these artists to be pretty good and the AI can do their style well enough with some exceptions. It seems like the rule of thumb is they need to have at minimum 100-300 images under their name on danbooru to be "recognized".
deetamu — Works out of the box.
gokuu (acoloredpencil) — The eyes can get a bit wonky and hard to get "good" first try, otherwise captures the style.
sarasadou dan — Works out of the box and can do more characters than just Ran.
morino hon — Does well enough, just have to fiddle with coloring saturation and eyes.
hidefu kitayan — This one is funny in that the artist draws their breasts bigger than what the AI gives them on its own, the style is on point otherwise, "chibi" and "0 0" are good tags to use.
masanaga (tsukasa) — The style is good, but the eyes are beyond repair since the artist draws them wavy in the first place.
midori (misuriru8) — Pure sex, the eyes turn out quite nice on their own since the artist draws them clear and glassy, make minor adjustments as needed.
dairi — Add "alphes (style)" to hammer it home, just the typical eye and hand issues to look out for.
namako (takorin) — The hentai pixel artist, so add "pixel art". The pupils get a little funny and might need work.
e.o. — Does his low render style very well, his high renders like what he used in his eroge are really hard to get working.
zunusama & heripantomorrow — Putting these together as they are both koishifags with similar styles, both work pretty good but for the latter you'll want black eyes for her beady stare.
hakika — The SEQUEL artist who also likes Yamame. Eyes are a concern as they come out real wobbly or "fractured" sometimes, but when it comes to pron the AI gets the expressions down.
wool (miwol) — works out of the box for me, don't need much tardwrangling.
kuraki — Eyes are real bad on this one and color saturation needs work.
ryogo — Works real well with chibi. The eyes come out very clear, but otherwise the rest of it needs work to adjust rendering like hair glossiness and such. Close enough.
hisha (kan moko) — Really captures that "I want to die" overworked look, don't even have to add bags under the eyes. Add "muted color" or "flat color" as needed.
mizuga — Not great, I tried different media types to get the pencil shading thing to mixed results. Even trying to replicate the rendered pieces it was wonky. Someone with more prompt-fu might have better luck. It's trying to get there at least.
raptor7 — The image tends to come out a little blurry. It understands what the style is, but the eyes need a lot of work as the artist has a particular detailed style for them the AI struggles to do. Throwing more steps at it didn't work.
kazami karasu — Nails the eyes in most gens, mofu is exceptionally on point. Rendering is good too. Works out the box.
hemogurobin a1c — Works out the box. Shading keeps on model. Nothing a little inpainting won't fix.
suminagashi — Does pretty well and works out of the box. Inpaint your problems away.
rotte (1109) — The Lost Word artist. Nails the glossy look of their art and eyes come out very clear most of the time.
216 — Try using the "chibi" tag. Generations tend to put in more detail than it should and it's surprisingly difficult to get a proper Yukkuri, possibly in part to poor tagging on Danbooru's part. Still cute.
massakasama — Similar to morino hon, fiddle with eyes but color palette is on point.
kasuya baian — Gets the style, but things come out very blurry. It's another one of those styles that the blurred flair the artist uses is exacerbated by the AI. Not sure how to fix.
hammer (sunset beach) — Gets her simpler style, I've tried getting it to gen the more detailed renderings but I've had no luck. Similar to e.o. in that regard. Eyes need work most of the time.
marota — Works out of the box. Eyes turn out pretty well and likes big tits.

A mistake they made when doing their image gen initially in the early days of SD and shit like Craiyon was used, was that they didn't like that people were using artist tags as a means to get better quality images. Artgerm, WLOPs, whatever was popular on artstation, shit like that jammed into every prompt that took up most of the tokens sent in. So they toned down the weight artist names had on the generator with the intention that people would be more creative and to break the habit of filling up the prompt with garbage. It's a reasonable motive given that the publicly accessible AI image generators of the summer of 2022 were laughably bad by today's standards, and jamming artists in was a crutch to make outputs marginally better.
Understand that the NAI dev team was rooted in a single 4chan thread where lots of little tricks were came up with and passed around as gospel until something better turned up. For example back in the olden times of AIDungeon (text gen), something called the format wars was a thing where people tried all kinds of placebo tricks to make the AI remember certain things better; like putting character traits in brackets, or cutting descriptive sentences down, chunking information, regex, etc. because you had to make the most out of every token sent to the AI. The Yoda format was briefly memed but I digress.
Anyway. It turned out that it just made every image look the same and gave the same AIslop artist soup every time that was recognizable as AI generated even at thumbnail resolutions. Now the issue, if you could call it that, is that images are now clones of particular artists and can be easily mistaken as their art if AI-isms are corrected or hidden well.

Newb question here, with tthe software you use, can you get it to generate these same style images you have posted in this thread, but also merge a real life person as a model as well as a combination?

It is, but make no mistake. It still mixes things up, though not as badly as it used to and the frequency is about 1 in 20 gens in my experience. Getting three or more is a challenge still and fucks up a lot more, sometimes it just duplicates characters and mixes their characteristics up on top of that. Though a trick you can do is just use the in-painting tools which they finally built in, and mask one of the duplicate characters and reduce the prompt down to just the desired character.
Pic on the left was the original, pic on the right was with the rightmost Yukari duplicate masked, and the prompt was adjusted to just be Reimu and make her annoyed to be there. Otherwise minimal effort prompt.

Bro, it's literally plug and play, compared to setting up a local SD model this is practically painless. Type in a prompt, hit generate, repeat. Inpainting and resizing and all that can be done on images you really like, have a difficult thing to generate, or want to touch up to post, otherwise you don't need to bother. And the default size is fine enough unless you want real high resolution. The 25 dollar sub sucks, but you have an entire month and can just cancel it anytime, and it comes with the text side too. Most people here are really only using for the imagegen.

Yep. I prefer to use at least light neg preset, but usually I go for heavy/human focus. But heavy/hf can mess with some styles.
