they certainly make everybody more nervous. The main growth in the cafes is their poularity in mainstream Japanese culture now. Hell couples and groups of women go to them these days. But like always, the core group of us support them up. I fully support the maids at my local. I have around a hundred cheki photos, many personal photos, calendars and posters. I buy their CD's and go to their idol concerts. For me it's better than AKB48 or such as you actually know and get waited on by these girls so the connection is deeper.
