Douman right? He is kind of a mean trick for newbies since most of the demons in that dungeon are weak to fire and you probably don't have too much AOE healing to counteract his AOE spells. I'd actually recommend holding off on that specific on for a little bit until you are more familiar with the game and going for one of the other dungeons. It's not too bad once you know what you are doing but it's probably the hardest of the starter dungeons. As far as what to focus on, the most simple answer is to pick an event/dungeon chain and follow it along, ducking over to others if you get stuck before popping back. Some good early game demons are nightmare(with a bit of mag enhancement can easily null all physical elements and can be found in a bunch of early dungeons, notably the seven sisters dungeon has a miniquest that will give you one for completing it while you are there), the starting pixie(evolves to high pixie), chefei(either choose the slutty options in character creation or buy from a dude hidden behind fake walls in the back alleys of roppongi red light for some macca, lots of evolutions), angel(similar to chefei, lots of evolutions), kikurihime/amenouzume(good early game healers, can fused using demons found early on), cool or veil(reward for completing harajuku which is probably the easiest early dungeon, several evolutions), salamander/sylph/undine have really good resistances early(fuse two of the same race demons, result varies depending on the races involved), and then a bunch of characters from extra events like whoever you get from the initial fate event(depends on alignment). Aside from that, buffs and debuffs are very powerful in this game so be on the lookout for characters or demons that have them.

I'm extremely hesitant to allow any kind of direct regex input from the user. There's far too many possible errors to account for, and since Era doesn't provide a proper regex validator or try-catch structure, there's no reliable method to prevent it from crashing.

Plus, it's not very intuitive that this particular input allows regex to begin with, Era's input mechanics has its own added quirks (such as removing brackets), few people would be able to use it, and in general, the usefulness strikes me as pretty limited.
I suppose you could OR a search and look for multiple tastes at once, but you wouldn't be able to do an AND search with it, which would be far more valuable, especially with the new request.

Anyway things have been busy IRL and I've had health problems which kinda drai the horny required to write this sort of stuff. So progress has been slow.

I've finished the biggest to do on the list now; the Counters. These are the lines which play after something happens once you start getting their affection up a bit. Like the girl groping your ass. Essentially "her turn".

Fluff events like Fishing, Forageing and such. Granted given Rika's schedule these probobly won't come up that often.

Combat. If I can figure out how to do so I actually want this to change according to her combat rank. Ranging from "Rika tries to danmaku but she is completely incapable because she's a no-mag so she just throws her wrench at you" at low ranks to "Rika just brings out Evil Eye Sigma" at S rank. No promises here, I have to actually figure out if this is possible and how to do it, and I'm a complete rookie coder. Honestly the fact Rika is even functional is a miracle.

I can't give an ETA on this due to aformentioned IRL and health issues. But I know it's been a while so I thought I'd post a status update for the 3 of you who care about the engineer that isn't a Kappa.
