- As of mid October 2023 The terms and conditions for the DMM games platform have changed. After 1 year of inactivity games on the platform will have the right to delete your account information if they wish to. Put simply IF YOU GO ONE YEAR WITHOUT LOGGING INTO SHIPTHIS YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR SHIPS EVER AGAIN.
- There are 5 new limited quests, one being a weekly PVP quest.
- Limited drops have been added, including Ranger, Victorious, Sheffield, and some DEs
- October ranking rewards have been distributed. They are the Do 217 K-2+Fritz-X +3, Ki 96 +5, Submarine 53cm Bow Torpedo Mount (8 tubes) +3, and the Late Model Submarine Radar & Passive Radiolocator +3

Didn't pay too much attention to the recent speed changes till now when i saw zekamashi's comp for the christmas quests.
Some ships are can now get fast+ with only a +7 13-Boiler. SuzuKuma here can now daytime double attack on 4-5 with sanshiki. I kind of get the feeling that this could be helpful in coming events. Time to start farming Amatsuns.

Anyone know if there's any reason to bring the Type 2 carrier recon if you have other planes with +3 accuracy for contact?

The type 2 has one of the highest contact rates out of the +3 acc contact planes.
And if you need LoS you wouldn't want to take a Saiun as you'd be giving yourself a higher chance to only get +2 acc contact.

All CLs with opening torps and BBs with touch mechanics are worth remodeling. Also Akagi and Kaga. And Ise and Hyuuga.

Vicky is basically a budget CVB, can equip jets, kinda niche, just useful when she has historical bonuses with british planes.

Sheffield is a four slot CL, same FP as Jintsuu but mediocre torp stats so yasen potential is pretty much meaningless unless historical bonuses come to play.

Yeah, the balloons & T1 Gun Tank let the DDs punch a bit more above their weight at the boss. It's often surprising how well they handle H node & it's not unusual to get perfect S vs harbor hime. RE's are nice to have but aren't really needed for the light fleet.

However, the light fleet will suffer if it's 4-5 LD.

Asides from all the others mentioned, Amagiri K2 is useful because she prioritizes PT imps & gives an anti-PT accuracy bonus to the ships next to her, Miyuki K2 is the best DD for shelling support expeditions & Ryuuhou K2 is currently the best CVE, but she'll cost you a catapult.

It's also worth producing multiple Zuihou K2/B since she's a powerful light carrier who only needs ammo & steel for remodeling.

You need aluminum to build planes, you need steel to build guns, other than that not much.

I think all the shipgirls fighting should be able to get on a few actual ships for protection. I think it would save some lives and put a few inches of steel in between incoming projectiles and the girls.

You could even put bigger guns and more powerful missiles and torpedoes on those ships that could obliterate the enemy by sheer size and explosive power.

Now that's just crazy talk. In such a case then they don't even need clothes or guns. It should be just a big naked wrestling fest. The fact remains that the mangled steel in their damaged equipment probably wouldn't be as mangled if it were thicker. Now imagine you took those same weaponry and scaled it up and you put the entire girl behind the thick armor of a ship. Now you stated maneuverability... OK. Even the big-ol phalanx with modern block upgrades is precise enough to make quick work of objects half the size of a dinghy. Even if an abyssal was great at springing of in various directions trying to maneuver you have computer controlled anticipation targeting and you are throwing a ton of lead out there.

I am with you and can't figure out why they don't seem to bleed, but at some point, they are overwhelmed and sunk with enough firepower and building a ship with the right systems (that exist right now) can easily overwhelm an entire abyssal fleet while barely making a scratch or dent on the ship while keeping the shipgirls safe and their undersized weaponry and armor irrelevant.

Zekamashi's fleet isn't great, but it should still get you then in a couple runs.
That being said, don't stick 46cm guns on Nevada if she isn't married, Cranes are the best carriers for quests like this since jets get you an extra phase to kill stuff, I have not idea why he likes to waste a slot on saiuns, Mogami is slightly better than Yahagi, and Mizuho is probably better than Teste since you can OTorp with her.

There is such a wide variance in rng it's kind of funny. I had a look at my replays since I didn't recall having trouble with 6-2. It took 3 runs using a bootleg zekamashi fleet and a lvl 80 base Nevada with pvp gear that I was too lazy to swap out.

There's a button at the top of the page you can click at the start. I think that was your red button since I only have blue and purple now. Every day you log in to a DMM game and then refresh the event page, which should show you a progress update like this. The 30 prize boxes give you DMM points or whatever else they say. You also get roulette medals, so they're basically a bonus. You probably have 6 medals, and there's buttons at the top to spend them.

You can use other DMM games so relogging doesn't interrupt your KanColle. I use Mist Train Girls on my phone while sortieing on PC. Several weeks after the event ends they'll give you the DMM points and you can use them to buy slots.

It worked out really well frankly, 6-4 feels pretty easy with how wild anti-installation equipment has gotten. 3CA(V)/3DD was a cakewalk.

It counts and you can do it by just refreshing KanColle. Staying logged in to any game doesn't count, so if you use a VPN to get in and stay logged in all week, that only counts the initial login.

Does anyone else have a problem with EO being stuck in the background? I think I'm basically forced to restart my computer or completely reinstall it to fix it. It seems to just happen randomly.
