You don't get spellcards, you get mixing items. You need your mixing supplies to make them, high enough level and for some you need a 2hu's friendship to learn a recipe.
There are some other bonuses, like achievement boosts for defeating a couple of girls too.
And as for clothes you already got them all, you just need to select a set to wear from your room. It's not fleshed out.
