Sometimes I wonder what the rest of the series would have been like if she wasn't cut. What would her roles in later entries be? What would her personality have been like? Would any of the stage 5 bosses still become playable characters?

I like this idea. ZUN eventually introduced Sanae to be an easy choice for a third incident resolver. So if he pulled the trigger earlier with Rin, perhaps she would have been very similar.
