KKHTA is the touhou flavour of late-2000s warrior cats AMVs, they're great in the sense that they're a work of art produced by someone passionate but the vast majority of the time they look like and are total crap

I have to partially credit KKHTA with getting me much more into touhou back then, not because I thought it was especially good (it's ultra kuso horror fun and I like extremely unrefined art) but because the disclaimer at the beginning of the videos and specifically the way it mentions "your gensokyo" made me think that maybe enjoying touhou is more about your own personal creative experience than it is about just consuming media and fanworks.

In short, it's a touhou meme subculture born from low quality fanmade voice dramas. When you see multiple versions of the same character in one scene it's Cookie 100% of time. 8 out of 10 anons would say that Cookie is cancer but it's genuinely fun
