Sakuya was readying to wrap up for the night, checking if all the doors were locked and making sure the gardens had no intruders hidden within them, as she passes by the front gate she notices something of the floor near it. It was Meiling's hat, completely abandoned. Sakuya groaned as she picked it up, that girl would forget her head if it wasn't attached to her body, as she walked towards her shack to return the hat she began preparing to scold the chinese girl, she was always too carefree, sure she did her job when it mattered and despite her magical handicaps she still managed to keep up with moat invaders but otherwise is like she was still a child, and just like a child she would take so little care of her image as well, it was frustrating that despite that she would still look just fine, but regardless of her natural if rowdy beauty she needs to be reminded that as the first impression of the scarlet mansion her uniform must be impeccable.

Sakuya was only halfway through the door when her thoughts were completely replaced by the sight in front of her.
Styled hair, more make up than the occasional lipstick, a fancy dress with accessories to match, all the while striking a a pose so girly it felt like Sakuya got hit with a wave of feminity.
Both girls stood there frozen for a few seconds until eventually Meiling breaks the silence
"A-ah! Y-you must be ze matmoozele Sakooya no?"
Sakuya didn't respond, she was still too shocked.
"Mine name is co... Collette ho-lehong! And i am ze cousin of my cousin ze Meiling, i have come to visit her yes"
Sakuya blinked
"O-oui! Mine zizter i mean couzin is in ze bathroom having ze showers but do not do ze worryings i vill keep her hat zafe and also give her ze scoldings"
Sakuya finally finished processing what was going on as "Collette" sheepishly took the hat off of Sakuya's hands and before she could ask any questions "Collete" began gently puahing her out of the shack
"It vas so nice meeting you matmoozel Sakuya, you are very magnifique but i must be ready for ze zleeping as i leave tomorrow morning for another thousand years, take care now aurevoier!"
Finding herself outside again the door behing Sakuya would quickly close followed by the sound of the door being locked and then what she could only describe as a perfect mixture of a groan, embarrassment and frustration.
Suddenly feeling too tired to deal with whatever it is she just experienced Sakuya simply headed for her own bedroom, perhaps this experience will make Meiling more careful from now on.

Do you think Asatoshi realizes the potential of his series? I think he does, but doesn't know how to deal with the production pace getting longer (6 years in production soon).
