The entire reason Alicesoft jumped into the West was because of how Evenicle sold on Steam and they wanted to cut out the middle man, but then Evenicle 2 got banned and they lost interest. Though had they stuck around, they probably could have taken the approach that Shiravune does to make sure their stuff gets onto Steam.
