Well, I just finish VenusBlood Desire and Empire. The gameplay was surprisingly pretty fun, though it got repetitive after several NG+.
Desire had the fallen goddesses as part of the plot was suprising. I was under the impression that it's a choose-your-own-adventure-thing. Empire had it, though the skip-until-read option was broken or something, so I didn't really find any difference between scenes, thus the goddesses' personalities before and after felt the same.
I think Desire did the heroines thing better while Empire leaned towards the story more. Dantes was just a revenge-bad guy while Freed was a chad.
I like that Empire had sub endings, basically character endings that happened between the main endings and the epilouges. It's neat. I didn't need to juggle relationship values, just picked what I wanted to see. But come on, why give the demonesses relationship values and NOT give them sub endings too.

There should be more hair brushing scenes in eroge.

Just look for how to use crack/bypass serial using debug and so on. Common programs are x64 and ollydbg. Or just watch videos on youtube of someone doing it and then follow the steps and learn from it. Gikei is a very clear case of a VN being unfinished but they absolutely had to ship it, the game is simply not done and it's extremely obvious. It feels like a 7th gen game where you can feel the point where they ran out of money or time and were told they have to ship what they've got, the early parts are fantastic and full of polish and the final battle is heartbreakingly bad. Even if they just released Gikei+ (actually finished version) I'd be there in a heartbeat, but I think they're cooked, sadly. It's a shame, their games aren't perfect but there's nobody else who does what they do and they're great at it.

I thought about the same thing as you anon, my autism kept pushing me to play the original WA1 instead of the remake before tackling WA2.

It ended up being one of the only VNs I've dropped ever because it was IMPOSSIBLE to advance. The scenes are RNG and after 3 hours of trying to trigger an event to get in Yuki's route instead of the manager despite reading every single guide in existence (which won't help you anyway; as it's a dating sim where you "plan" your schedule one week in advance and you're literally "rolling" the scenes, you need to pray that you'll be getting a conversation with your target in order to raise the bond level, and you can't "select" the target). Last time I had a headache playing an eroge was when I was stuck in playing Haha-Ranman, which also contained random RNG events/gameplay.

I switched out and played the remake version, which did include the start of the H-scenes while cutting the "action" so it's more like a R15 game than an all-age one. It was no worth it for the scenario but it's great seeing the few references WA2 made, also knowing the origins of the songs etc.
