And that's Semiramis finished. I enjoyed it quite a lot. Girl ranking: Fumika > Ami > Eru > Touko > Sunao. Fumika wins because she is willing to commit crimes for you with zero persuasion needed. Loyalty and devotion of that caliber, especially outside her route, is special.
Things I liked: I was very impressed by the level of detail, especially considering how many different ways events can go down with even minor changes in choices. Everything was logically consistent no matter the path through, with one exception (Sunao's route.) I also appreciated that failure had consequences. In terms of routes, both Ami's route and the Law Overflowing bad end were stand out.
Things I liked less: Sunao's route. I was full Chaos when I got the option to take her route. By taking it, the protagonist just loses all his derangement and it's a normal route. I was expecting something spicier. Really, Sunao in general felt kinda extraneous. Once Ami "defeats her", she just fades into the background. I was also a little unsatisfied with the truth behind the voices.
All in all, a great read despite my minor complaints. Not sure what I will read next. After doing Mekuiro, Komorebi, and Semiramis back to back to back, whatever I choose next better not have a damn glossary or pop-up info panels.

Yes, actually. I didn't read VNs when I sucked at Japanese. I prefered stuff that wasn't 100% text based, like manga and JRPGs. I don't regret that one bit.

What I do regret, though, is reading stuff like Sharin and Ever17 in English before I started learning Japanese. Reading them in Japanese years later only reinforced that feeling.
