That's because while they may be physically younger in appearance, they ARE women in some sense, and I don't just mean sexually. Take my wife, Remilia, for example; she is physically young, and even acts young to a certain degree, but mentally she has accumulated the wisdom of a woman of over 520 years. She may play like a young girl, and she may have the energy of one, but behind the mask of that vampire that likes to get into and cause trouble to alleviate boredom....well, you don't survive that long as a vampire without picking up a few things along the way. And that goes for a person running an estate, doubly. Especially considering that her and her sister are from the Renaissance period-aristocrats, nobles, etc., had major shoes to fill for keeping everything going smoothly, and compound that with such a long life and you get someone who may or may not have pawned off responsibility to those they employ, but let things get serious and watch how both demeanor and eyes change and you'll see why she lives up to the titles she's gotten over the years. They can be little girls, young women, mature ladies, and everything in between, but at the end of the day they have the luxury to choose how they present themselves. You and I just see them for what they truly are- multifaceted individuals that are much more than two-dimensional, and very special to us, to boot.
