Definitely. The system itself isn't very intuitive, but from what I can tell, every item has an equal chance of being drawn. However, if you don't have enough "gathering power" that item is skipped and a different one is picked.
Gathering power is based on your foraging skill, but your intelligence also factors in half as much. It's heavily dependent on both your daily fortune (onikuji) and personal luck. If you have 99 of an item it'll get skipped as well, so once you max everything you'll always get the top quality stuff if you can.
The easiest way to know if you can find something is by going to the Sea of Tranquility and searching for dark matter, if you don't find anything you don't have the luck and skill necessary and will never get anything top quality.

To be more specific, the game keeps an internal "attitude" stat with every character which controls whether or not you can do more intimate commands/lead them around, helps with push down acceptance, and a few other misc things. It's normally controlled by mood, favor, intimacy, alcohol, traits, and basically anything tracking your relationship with someone (which is why you have to butter people up to make them follow you at first), and common sense modification gives a huge buff based on its value and sets everyone to headpat minimum, as well as drastically lowering hostility gain.
Common sense mod also does a bunch of other things at PWR 50 like letting you request and carry panties, not get blackmailed, enter people's rooms, bathe with people, forage/fish/gather with anyone (stop wakasagihime from bitching at you), and cause girls to look past drunk/sleep rape. Okay but really, I don't know how to help here. Emuera seems to use the current time to track the printed line, but since the clock is system dependent, you might be running into a hardware or OS specific bug where images are being created at the same "time" internally.
No idea how to fix something like that, these are the types of portability issues you really want to avoid letting slip into a project. It's a long shot, but you could try changing the drawing interface in the settings to see if it changes the interval somehow.

Make a fuck ton of Magic Potions (pretty easy if you live in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost, which you should be doing already for this.) On night when Mystia works, go into time stop and spam Help with Work. Once your almost out of TSP, pop a Magic Potion to recover some more (i think you get more TSP from each one with higher Mixing Level). Once you're out of Magic Potions you can spend the rest of the night helping normally for a bit of extra Cooking EXP. This also works with Miyoi in the Human Village (she also works more frequently so you have more chances) but I find doing it in the Bamboo Forest with Mystia works better since you can also grind for materials to make more Magic Potions on the same map.

Some people want to pursue Eiki without being pushed down by her, but also be able to pursue other people. The toggle was added to allow for that. It seemed better than making an intermediate mode for her.

After some consideration, I believe that keeping them both locked behind that trait, but having separate filters for snowballing and anilingus (so that if you like one but not the other, you can disable it) seems fair.
