I went to MM first and it was my first concert as well, it's no biggie. But having a friend who can speak Japanese sure makes things a bit easier. Still, modern day tokyo and even concert organization is designed to accommodate gaijins. All you really need is just google lens and you are good to go.

MM is so much better experience than expos. Both the shows and especially the exhibitions outside of the show.

I'm not an expert but maybe you should make more use of fade in-out effects so that you can move to the next track without the tempo dying out of nowhere. I've only listened to 10 minutes so far but I like the songs. Maybe only focusing on highlights for certain songs would also work. The total length will go down but the mix will feel more dynamic that way and less like an actual playlist with one full track after the other

I'm well aware of the song transitions and the tempo breaks, sorry. I've tried my best to not have silences in between tracks and to try to match tempos or at least conceal the transition. I'm embaarrased to admit I made this with Kdenlive (for composition) and ffmpeg (for song edition) because I don't know how to use any DAW, althought I want to learn now, because making this was extremely fun.

idk I think youtube needs some kind of button or filter you can put on that explicitly shows you stuff that is like what you watch but not stuff you've already watched or by artists you follow. My youtube recs are usually 90% videos I've already seen, 98% or more from artists I've already listened to. But sometimes it does just recommend me some video that's 2 weeks old with 300 views. Most of the time it's some garbage indian AI video but sometimes it's some obscure vocaloid producer who has been putting out videos for over a year without any traction.

I would happily watch this each week. I wish I had the underlying data available.
Plus the vocaran captures “Vocaloid community defining songs” most efficiently. It puts Vocaloid songs directly in the context of the Vocaloid community. I like Vocacolle for this reason too.
There is value in content recommendation algorithms on the individual level but I don’t think it fits the community needs right.
