You can trash all 3 star cards besides the Tengu phone and the hammer. As a general rule, keep all cards that have party wide effects, super high attack stats, increase your ying/yang attack, increase your spirit, increase your accuracy, increase your offensive crit factors. Obviously never trash event cards, gacha exclusive cards or VS cards.

Magical Remi is recovery type which could be interesting but only if she can remove more than 1 lock total with her skills.

Remi has such weird design. Her AoE spell does NOT break burning. She can not inflict burning with her skills. Her single target spell inflicts burning against all enemies and a bit more to the target and it breaks burning barriers. She can recover a ton of status effects...on herself. And she is immune to burning + freeze + darkness anyway. Her LW breaks burning at max boost.

The VS stage for the Yuuka card is back along with the one for MV Flan. The Yuuka card is pretty good. Gonna farm more of it. I don't have Beach Yukari for the super smol set-ups but I can turn everyone down to 5 cost with this. It is quite fun to pair up Yorihime with Kaguya for maximum moon damage.

Although this was intended as more of a joke than anything serious, I do think that if 20 rolls around with no bone witch it's over. I doubt ZUN has another 10 main games in him, since character concept reuse is at an alltime high, and I don't think there is another new dimension to add, unless the girls go back to Makai properly and beat the shit out of whatever Shinki has come up with. But as far as I can tell he wants to retcon Makai into just a worse hell, instead of the demonic fantasy land it used to be.

mizuchi was introduced in CDS and took over the 'hates the hakurei shrine' trait, yukari took the 'messes with the hakurei shrine' trait, and marisa long since stopped needing a mentor, and even then, rinnosuke and now enoko took the 'knew her in the past' traits
there's just not much left for mima unless ZUN reinvented her character a lot, and at that point, is it even mima anymore?

I still use her in tower often and sometimes in a VS fight backline if I just want to pump numbers.
She blasts hard and with so many characters having party P up you can get her to 3P when paired with just about anyone.
MV Marisa's card is really good, but sadly not a perfect fit for the LW because of the 2 fire lines.
She's good at applying burn with her SCs, but doesn't autobreak it herself, paired with someone who burn breaks could push you to get a fullbreak with just burn.
As a Ufes she's pretty much geared fully towards damage with maxing out YangAtk, needs crit buffs from elsewhere since she only gets 3 from grazing.
Overall I think she's pretty good, just don't expect Relic/EFes performance. I won't downplay the fact that she has been powercreeped somewhat.
Also her LW animation is pretty long, still looks better than MV Marisa's though.

God crystal rolls have one guaranteed character slot which normally has a 10% chance of getting the rate-up touhou and a 90% chance of getting anyone else. The other 9 rolls have the regular 5% chance of giving you a character (0.5% of being the rate-up and 4.5% of being anyone else)

Although what they do with a lot of these step ups is have a higher chance of getting the rate-up character for each roll, so the odds are actually 12% and 0.6%.

Not worth 300gc, at least in my opinion. I usually just drop 60 on the other kind of step up (see the active A8 Tewi one) and roll the 10% odds.

Obviously never throw away cards that were farmed from VS battles, story missions, events or were banner exclusive. Never thow away cards that they hand out for free, like anniversary cards or special cards like from that old fan artist event. Keep every card that has a party wide buff effect, those can be used to extend buffs from characters or just support in general. Keep cards that increase crit damage or decrease enemy crit defense, like that one Hecatia card or the underground party card. Keep cards that have stuff like +3 levels of yang/ying attack or accuracy. Keep stat sticks that have super high attack, like 100+.

That should cover just about everything that is worth keeping. A lot of the earlier cards are complete trash, like this one.

there it was a certain magical farming comp with MoF Sanae + EoSD Marisa and Shizuha giving P to group and then switching to Mai.

Problem was that it was not so solid, 90% of the problems I had with it arose during last Marisa gauge, even with Mai at 8SP with a safeswitch LW around the corner, the comp would fail.

Jap version needs 5 character until the anniversary. Even without MV Reisen they have Tenshi, Youmu and the 3 Prismrivers. If they don't release Reisen, they will use up all their A6 characters. Tower didn't add anyone new after all.

Everyone in the A6 universe thinks that Yukari is the one behind the mist btw. Tenshi even shows up to beat her up. Not sure if global even had any of the tower cutscene set in A6 yet.

There are some VS battles that rely heavily on locks, like the one for the Whalehu card. I think the big problem is that there are simply better characters who can even remove more locks. I feel like everyone has one of MV Mokou, Beach Yukari or Strategist Tewi. I have Tewi and Mokou which means 4 locks are just gone. Even some normal characters can remove locks by now thanks to reincarnation buffs.

also, regarding farming, I realized that I don't need so many dupes, I usually 41x a stage, which takes around 10 to 18ish minutes per session, so as long I have enough chars (10 or 8) capable to farm a stage, I'm safe from exhaustion/purple heart because once I go full circle the not so safe zone of 2 hours and a half to reuse a char who did 41 repeats, is expired and I can safely use it for 3 to 4 times a day, it all depends if I'm busy at the workshop or I'm around cycling with no power bank or electric outlets nearby to recharge my phone.

If the enemy maybe is not immune to both elements then someone else will add a Yang DEF on it
If the enemy really hates you have a fully MLB Okuu and Eika at 12sp then it will also use delay/stun or other means to make said units useless and sell you into A6 Sunny or S2 Satori cause she doesn't give a fuck and she will nuke everyone who bullied her beloved Okuu

Just Hecatia and Kisume, they are fine, we also have some good RFES such as A6 Sakuya who have fire

go mixed, pick Ichirin and Minamitsu, Cirno needs FR + 2.0 upgrades to be viable otherwise you have to carefully buff her through other means

Keiki, Mayumi, partially Tenshi (she's tricky) and Misumaru, be aware that Misumaru and Keiki are still FES, so is Momoyo which it's also good at meal and earth

Can't say Tsukasa cause she's in the DS pool, so Hecatia, Saki, prolly Seija and Mike, many units with star are mixed with other elements, it's yet another difficult choice, specially now with Star EX Walletnightmare cause the only good units can be counted with 8 fingers I guess

Basically 95% of ingame units are mixed elements, very few have only, for example wood lines everywhere, some L1 units are good for the long run and usable on higher floors of the tower while still at 8sp, others do require FR and other will hit their mark at 12sp

You either go waifu, or meta, or listen to whatever people selling you into improbable units capable to do improbable feats such as Sanae stalling tower at infinitum, Minoriko fully breaking 5 floors a day, X unit doing 23942903490238402938490238429034 damage against normal enemies with no defense buffs and so on, be very wary of strangers anon.

When you are about to start a stage, if you check the right column, you'll find element, class and other stuff written in the suggestion box.

So if suggested elements are Sun, Water and Wood, you need:

1) Pick units who have said elements in their spell cards or in their attacks

2) Pick one or more units who can bruteforce the stage/wave

3)Go into National Geographic mode and learn enemy species, so you can waste half an hour checking your unit spell card description which states what kind of killer your unit has

You have also to keep in mind that outside tower, arena and other stuff that it's, for now, unreachable to you, there is no info about which elements are resisted by those enemies.

Certain gibberish such as "Loliko" means that Yuyuko R2 aka"Loliko" is vulnerable to Moon Metal and Earth elements but she resist Fire and Water Elements, there is nothing said here that if you use poison anomalies on her, you'll be giving her a buff on her attack abilities, that's something for you to understand

Cards box it's about info about her spell cards attacks which water single target, no elements all targets, water all targets, numbers are probably at the P or boost used for her attacks, so 1 means she boosts once, 2 twice, 3 thrice.

Skill box is the effect she gives at the start of the wave/turn (it varies) so she is giving a freeze effect to all of your front-line units which last for 2 turns

Gauge info, it will take her 1 turn to use one of her spell cards against you and she has only 3 barriers

Your units in their description also have stuff related to their damage against resisted elements, what kind of element they resist and what kind of element they are exposed too, plus other stuff about random abilities etc, you can either ignore them, or start to memorize things, at first you don't need to become a LostWord expert, but after some time you need to know where and when use a certain skill, which units have power link, atk link, speed link and so on and also grow accustomed to NN wiffery.

It's kinda long to write everything here, some good info can be found on Gamepress even if it's barely getting updated and it's mostly a copy paste of what it's written on our units description and spell card info that will mostly fall into the tl;dr section, other stuff it's on discord, maybe on certain YT channels and on reddit,

Game it's not that hard, it's just tricky and stupid at the same time cause most FES and Retro FES units are barely getting reruns and some of these units (around 20) offer a good starting base that will ease up things till your start getting into the UFES, Relic and Epic category of things which are on their own world, just spend any kind of relic disc, divine paper doll and epic doll very wisely

Yeah the raw stats favor the unawakened 8SP, and rebirth units get hit even harder.
But awakening buffing card effects could overturn that in the added utility.
Like for example Otohime going from 1 to 2 poison autobreak on her SC2 or Mecha Marisa going from 2 to 6 Yang atk up on her LW.
