Not professing to be an oldfag but I do enjoy the PC-98 games, not as much as the later ones but they remind me of games I used to play when I was younger (similar graphic style, music etc.)

Out of PC-98 games:

LLS > MS > SoEW > HRtP > PoDD

Recently I've been playing quite a bit of HRtP after hearing an arrangement of it's stage 1 theme on an Iemitsu album. I'm shit at it but I still give it a go and it's alright until I fuck up and it becomes rage inducing.

I don't like Touhou 1-5 because you can't tool assist it and slow down the game to have perfect runs. They also don't have the replay option.

I just don't really like the head-to-head danmaku battles most of the time. Sometimes it can be a lot of fun to play but at others it just feels like a chore playing the game (don't know why though). Same thing with PoFV but at least Aya's, Komachi's and Sakuya's 2nd theme liven things up a bit.
