This sounds like it could be anything. Maybe in a similar sense to Caubac he has his own view of God and his journey will in part be to define that. Knowing everything in the universe and seeing mankind to its end would define the love of God. Not necessarily actually what "God" really is as that seems like Alaya or descending from man. I think it would be a little odd for it to be referring to CM but maybe in a sense that the planet is really seemingly the foundation of the the arcana that mages try to reproduce and the egg is connected to everything and so CM and Arc and the planet are basically linked.
