Beyond that you have to be more specific about what's crashing. There are a bunch of things that can cause AL-K to crash, and I assume JP updates for it is hard to come by as AL-K is banned entirely from the JP era board, wiki and uploader (including any requests on how to get AL-K) and from what I know was based entirely on Discord. The main reason why it was banned from the JP era board, wiki and uploader was that it used the official artwork directly from Azur Lane itself, from the ship girl art to the chibis to the alternate costume art.

If you want to make a basic K clone or even just a slave trainer then that'd be pretty easy. The more complicated your game gets the more you'll have to learn to do things manually and you'll start having to work around era's restrictions.
It's just a lot of work, and there's little in the way of resources on era development compared to something like twine. Neither are amazing choices, but there's also not much else unless you want to use a real game engine or make something from scratch.
