Also, Roa scene only happened in the old good ending, but is present in both remake endings. Neco-Arc thought that the true ending will be the threesome one, but it's not, the events of the old good ending and remake true are nothing alike.
So that leads to a couple of questions. Why doesn't kid Shiki do anything in the remake normal ending if it's identical to the old true end up to that point? What's the idea behind cutting Ciel good ending, is it a one time only thing and it's meant to be restored in the full version, or are all old good endings scrapped and true ones are downgraded to normals?

Calvaria Star was able to overpower Arcueid while she was explicitly carrying around the energy level of a star, also said to be enough to recreate the Earth. And the only reason it was unable to destroy Arc's body is because the degree of mystery in Calvaria (which = Excalibur's) was lesser than Arc herself. Cernunnos won't have that benefit, so it'll get vaporized.
Ciel also blocked Arc's planet's breath multiple times which titlted the Earth's axis as a side effect, and her mere clashing with Arc was reducing Ether itself to subatomic particles.
Ciel is absolutely powerful enough to damage Cernnunos with her normal attacks and Calvaria is powerful enough to destroy it, since she is hilariously beyond any of the characters you mentioned in every way.

It's a comfy read, probably better to read during winter under a blanket and hot tea besides you.
I remember reading that it was it was still superior to Tsukihime remake technically and I can see why. But it's also true that it lasts like 20 hours less so they had more time to concentrate on the art.
While I like Tsukihime a lot I enjoy Nasu's stuff better when it's a small settings like this, small characters doing their daily lives with a little bit of trouble getting into their way ruining their routine, not world's threat dangers.
But honestly... I don't think this would work well in anime format.

It's the comfiness you get while reading it, won't translate well when you watch.
It was the same with Fate, I enjoyed more reading it rather than watching it.
While watching the anime (let's ignore how they skipped a lot of information for now) I remember feeling bored in the first half. The status quo doesn't change until midseason and after that everything happens so suddenly, you don't get that feeling while reading because you have the day system, you know that in the first few days nothing will happen so you enjoy the quite before the storm while expecting things to escalate in the last few days. It's a crescendo that isn't possible to transmit into anime format.

All of that is in the remake as well. Kouma is in because he won't be an on-screen character in Red Garden. Also you can find some hints about Akiha's abilities in-game, unlike with Satsuki's vamp powers. Cutting Akiha would remove a lot of interactions, so Nasu had to compromise.
