Rumia really isn't all that interesting. Characters like Mystia have far more going for them, since they actually have goals and do shit.

All of these things you've just listed are things that are very interesting, but are never explained or expanded on, which would be my point.
She has a lot going for her, but she just got dropped in favor of different characters which I think is a shame.
It's like watching the intro to a very ambitious movie and then it cuts off before you get any real exposition, but the seeds of the plot are already sown.

It'd be interesting to find out her exact relation to the Crucifixion, even if it was probably just a throwaway joke by ZUN initially.
Although Makai was associated with latin crosses in HRtP, so that could also be a connection.
