I'll bite I guess. Who is involved with the event? One of the founders is a professor, and has worked for multiple game companies as well. There's a lawyer as a commentator, and others as top placers. Several champs and top placers are graduates from well known moon universities, like Tokyo U(Love Hina etc). Hell at least one gaijin champ is N1 moon wise easily. Wonder why they play or get viewer interest from those who don't know. They hold the event at places where world boxing matches are held in Las Vegas, with the Japan event using what Comiket does etc. Out of the 7000+ person venue bracket for one of the games this year, the mentioned biochem(?)
