Is a good psychological thriller while also being engaging and having whitty lore, its one of the most defining VN's of the 2000's and I will never shut up about how still holds up to this day.

I felt like Saya as a character was a bit bland and the sex scenes definetly were a suprise but I guess for the first one it makes sense since she is a literal child, which makes the latter much worst in comparasion. Ouch.

Near the middle or the beginning he realizes that she's inhuman and he's completely okay with it, he even knows that she transformed Yoh or whatever her name was into her and kept her as a pet. He doesn't know exactly "what" she is until the true end iirc. Once he gets the choice to regain is senses again and you reject it he casually butchers the guy he just murdered and save his meat for later. His condition pretty much fucked him up mentally and turned him into a monster

I played this game about a decade ago while on what was probably the darkest, most miserable period of my life. I have yet to encounter fiction that so succinctly conveys the true feeling of scorn as well as this game. Everything about it just hit so viscerally for me and It was honestly one of the most cathartic experiences I have had from any form of media.

I doubt it would have anywhere near the same feeling now but goddammit, I will never forget that first playthrough.
