Does Arc actually tank anti-TA weapons in this scene or did she dodge them? Shiki would do anything to secure a kill. At this point he's a half-vampire with the most hax mage living in his subconscious using his nerves as circuits. It still felt very Shiki imo, especially how he is sussing out what to do, maneuvering through the primordial jungle while his body is dying on him as he blocks out his mind. Shiki learning to cast magecraft might be random but he's just super talented so Roa using his body once(which has always been implied to actually be good for magecraft) is like a super tutorial mode for a guy who learns elite techniques just from seeing it done. The redirection of the star was all about Man killing the planet(Which in itself is a callback to their first fateful meeting), civilization bending the forces of nature over a long period of time and the impossibility of finally overcoming it. It's just kino storytelling imo. The Egg scene is just Nasu snorting coke and going crazy but it was dope and surely hinting for the future of Tsuki.

Unlike other VNs it feels less like alternative routes and more like you're forced to go Arc > Ciel > X > Y > Z > D, which isn't bad, just different. Also the last route will probably be the one where we will get to enjoy the Tsuki world in its fullest.
Mario was an interesting character to have, but I think Ciel's route is where he shines, I doubt we'll see him in the far side.

To reiterate - a 100% improvement, very little reason to play the OG (especially when the whole thing is out). Which is refreshing, because for one a studio did a straight upgrade. The only thing I didn't like, which is a quirk of mine, is the expansive soundtrack. OG Tsuki had 10 tracks and by the end that thing was drilled into my soul. With how many tracks OG Tsuki has the only tune that stays with me is the Main Menu.
I have some more bad ends to unlock, but I'll take a small break before that.
