Finally actually got around to finish a playthrough of GvT. Was there ever supposed to be more 'weak enemies', or was the development of GvT stopped before the devs got around to it? The Config section for Weak Enemy Filter implies that there could be a big list of different Weak Enemies, but at most there's 1-2 of the current available categories. I mostly wish there were more of the 'angel/devil' type of enemy around because the only enemy from that section sounds like they're ripped out of RePure Aria.

Ah, so it's not a mode/lap unlock or anything then, it's just simply incomplete. Kind of a huge pity then; they could've had the weak enemy tentacles 'evolve' as you kill bosses or if danger level got too high, or a sort of 'normal/hardcore endless' mode that pops up after finishing a lap where it's the same as normal/hardcore mode, but with day limit removed but tentacles can also evolve over time - so the player can play as long as they want like endless mode but the game finishes after beating all the bosses, except the longer they take the stronger the 'weak enemies' are so there's still a need to push for it. Or maybe as an Extreme Mode where the weak enemies 'evolve' not only over time but also when bosses get taken down, which can result in double tier evolution?

Either way, GvT was rather enjoyable, though it's kind of too bad that you can't NG+ a normal run into Solo mode. At least GvT uses a global achievement system, so the lap bonus from completing one run applies to a completely new run that doesn't use the Game Clear data. Other era games with an achievement system should make use of that, even if as an optional thing. Yes, I'm looking at you, eraMegaten.

They do level up over time, including the bosses. While that kind of counts as the tentacles 'evolving', I meant more of an actual mutation. Whether it be a tentacle with more variety of attacks or even something like 'grown/adult tentacle swarm' appearing more often instead of the 'juvenile tentacle swarm', or maybe even tentacle infested versions of the angel/devil types since they're supposed to also be hostile against the tentacles. I mean, the coding is already kind of there to support it - the first (and only) angel/devil type for example is rather interesting, because they don't capture/imprison your (female) character and instead just seek to drain magical power and has two specific attacks that does this - an energy draining kiss and if your character is female, turns them into a parasitic futa just to drain even more energy through the good old cowgirl (which is why they remind me of Repure Aria). I assume they just get to that part much sooner if your character is male/futa, transformed or not. Not sure how they react to non-transforming characters, but if you get caught by them while your character is untransformed, they instead first do an 'angel's kiss' that gives you Energy (at the cost of their HP), forcing you to transform before doing their usual energy draining stuff. But yeah, as mentioned I was hoping for more of that side of things - maybe even as a way to get children from their pool of races (angel/devil/etc as opposed to tentacle children) if they had developed that third side enough.

It works a lot like classic era training games where you use gems to lower the hate mark by paying with sub gems. I took that and added extra payment options that scale much higher than the rest depending on traits. The system TW used was pretty much broken and never fired because it only relied on favor gems, and you needed half of the requirement that is used to level up Intimacy, and even then it was finicky, I never got it to work. It was an RNG fest and it drove me mad enough to make the whole visible date scores thingy way back in the past.
As it's an after date forgiveness, it's assumed that you are already in better terms given that you need to be able to date the girl in the first place. It's tough, but satisfying to overcome the challenge and win her over with a great date, plus you get to see rare forgiveness lines. Of course you can combine it with other means to get rid of marks, it's a long road, but the forgiveness progress persists and slowly snowballs until you finally get that forgiveness.
Lastly, you don't need to have crazy modifiers, most of them are already a given (fall states, high favor/trust, etc), the only hard filters are low obedience and low lewd mark which will increase the price way too high. In older games you wouldn't be able to remove hate marks at all if you didn't have that step covered.
