Most important things to remember:
- Set Clip Skip to 2 in settings.
- You'll probably want to add --xformers to your command line arguments after you're done setting up, because it's a free performance boost at this point.
- Use the right sampler for the job. The default Euler A is suited for abstract imagery, but not, for example, humanoid shapes. The go-to is DPM++ 2M Karrass - it's one of the faster ones and includes the popular failsafes.
- Use a VAE. USE A VAE. Either a dedicated one for your model, or a universal one like anything-v4.0 or kl-f8-anime2. Not using a VAE results in washed-out colours, artefacting and inability to inpaint.
- Your basic txt2img gens aren't supposed to look good right off the bat or even be the final product. They're just the first step of the process. Hires fix them or img2img for actual, presentable results. So don't get disheartened if your 512x512 Youmu doesn't have pupils in her eyes. Txt2img at lower resolutions for base composition, then upscale for details.

There are more quirks, but you're bound to pick them up as you get familiar with the software. Ask away if you have any questions or concerns.

If you're using character or composition LORAs, depending on how well they're made, they may overpower your model. Consider either lowering their strength for the first generation (0.85 is my default value even for "good" LORAs) or lowering them to somewhere between 0.25-0.4 when upscaling your base gen.

Albeit I wouldn't be my canontistic self if I didn't point out this is not how Sagume's ability works. The universe doesn't spite her intentions, merely reverses her spoken words. Moreover, it can only reverse what isn't already true - i.e. tenuous, future events. This is how Sagume can get around it at all in the first place and how she does it in LoLK. She jinxes the Capital relocation plan, so the likelihood of the heroines' victory instead grows greater.

So, technically, it'd be more correct if she said something to the effect of, "No matter how fast you cum inside me, you'll never get me pregnant" or "You're a big buck now; you will pace yourself." This is just me nitpicking, however.

I gave it a go and found that adding basic clothing/character tags (which you can always find on the character's wiki page of danbooru) helps it along quite a lot.

Fully depends on your patience. I'd consider 8gb of VRAM to be a minimum if you are seriously considering upgrading for this. Used 3000 series GPUs would be a place to start depending on your local availability. Personally using a 10gb 3080 which is fine but does run out of memory when trying to do large upscales in one action, goes alright if I do a 2nd run separately

Tiled VAE hasn't much to do with your gen times, as that is mostly depending on your GPU's processing power. VRAM capacity mostly concerns how big of a model/picture you can stuff in there, while Tiled VAE chops the pic into tiles that are then processed individually, in a series. So a 1024x1024 picture should take no longer to generate than four 512x512 ones. Of course, the higher you go, the longer it'll take in total, and the bigger the tiles, the slower the iteration speed will be.

To speed up raw iteration speed, you can install xformers by adding "--xformers" to your command line arguments in webui-user.bat. The payoff is very slight randomness when generating pictures from the same seed... which, realistically, you'll never do anyway. You can also try adding --medvram for a 4GB card. I've seen some issues solved on my 4GB 3050Ti work laptop with it on, compared to doing it raw (even if it did work with Tiled VAE alone).

As a more practical example, I recently upgraded from a 3070 to a 4070Ti in my desktop, and, I shit you not, while the vidya performance increase was pathetic (something in the order of 12%), my SD iteration speed went up by 100%. Yes, twice as fast.

Would I recommend it? No idea. It's your money. You've got to weigh the options. Just be aware that the 4xxx series don't offer much gaymen improvement over the 3xxx series, while costing an arm and a leg. And on this note, don't get a 4090 or a 4080 unless you're a content creator, video editor or some such. 4070Ti offers comparable SD performance at half the cost.

Controlnet is a great tool, and you should learn it regardless, though in my case I have no visual imagination, so no real poses in mind to feed to it. What I tend to do is prompt atypical angles (from_below, from_above, etc.) to avoid head-on 3/4 shots, plus, as I've said before, atypical angles in atypical aspect ratios force the model to rearrange the character to fit, effecting more interesting compositions. For example, the Shou pic has her lying on_stomach, but from_side, in POV and in a vertical aspect ratio. These would normally clash, but as you can see, after a bunch of duds, SD figured something nice-looking out. I just had to do a few manual fixes, but that's par for course.

The Kasen pic is 100% a LORA, though ("Sword Swallowing Position"). Cause who even comes up with that kind of stuff?
