I'm trying to give this a chance, I really am. And after getting out of that god forsaken noob island, you get to spend a wonderful ninety minutes of running around town to talk to NPC who directs you to talk to another NPC for reasons I do not know because the quest messages are boring as fuck. Walls of text on some shitty papyrus window makes me close them as fast as I can.

People were shouting in the zone about making a raid for a sabretooth squirrel boss, I would've gone to see but fuck that, no more running around.

So what is everyone else playing now while waiting for AIKA CB2?

This. I slacked like hell on Aika anyway so despite being one of the first to start on the server I ended up in the not-to-level-30-or-even-20-yet camp by the end of CB.
Gonna need to do a lot of caring to grind that shit up, and caring isn't something I usually do. Might as well save it by not grindan any more grind.
I would've played Allods but the downloader is shit and nobody posted a mirror. ;_;

The game itself isn't really hardcore serious competitive fightan, but I still have fun with it. Mainly because it has little girls, frilly dresses, and the ability to say, "fuck you, shoto spammers, I'm running straight through your hadouken."It's weird being the only one in the threads who writes far too much than what he actually should, though. I feel like I annoy them. ;_;

Eh, uninstalled Allods. Too bad I didn't get to find anyone ingame other than Teto. Won't be on much until CB2 I guess.

The nice thing about it, is that it's streamed. That way, I don't waste time and bandwidth downloading the entire client all at once, only to decide it's terrible and uninstall it shortly after.

Aika CB2 in seven (7) days.

So what exactly are you guys complaining about when you complain about the combat system? I'm trying to figure that out. The only difference I can figure out between this game and other games is that you can precast a spell unlike in other games. Once you precast it, you can instantly use it again on the next button press. I think it's pretty neat to be honest. Other than that it feels exactly like every other MMO I've played, including Aika.

Funnily enough, even with precasting (which several other MMO's have and is nothing new), the skills are still slow in activating. If you don't find the combat system clunky and sluggish, then I don't know what to tell you. It actually reminds me a lot of the combat mechanics in WAR, which was similarly clunky and terrible.

I find the entire game to be kinda laggy but I'm pretty sure that's because of the flood of people trying to play now that it's OB. The only annoying thing I've found so far has been tabbing enemies sometimes glitches.

I'm not quite seeing where all the hate is coming from. Other than every place being crowded as fuck but that's to be expected at this point. So far it's been head and shoulders above any other F2P MMO I've tried. Which isn't saying much but whatever.

Going to give Aika a try when CB2 starts. Please tell me Prans aren't the only thing supposed to keep me interested.

Well my lag has changed from a black icon to yellow, and it actually feels almost playable now, and completing quests appears possible.

Still trying to figure out how some people are two-shotting npcs while I hit for 10.

Wasted Namae on my paladin who does 3 damage and each monster feels like a raid boss.

Might be a mage or psionicist.

One thing I learned yesterday was you could cast 3 instant casts and two shot most enemies as a psionicist.

This doesn't seem that bad without the lag and not being a paladin.

Too bad everyone quit already ;_;
