This website has addons for Allods if anyone cares. Allods devs never opened up the APIs so there's not many addons for Allods. From what I could tell on their forums, everything was done from reverse engineering the compiled lua scripts from the game. The lua scripts included in these addons are plain text so you can confirm your keys are not being logged if you care.

Yes, this game is pretty terrible. The combat is slow and clunky. I can't even fathom how this game got so hyped up. I can't even change the over-sized chat text or resize the chat box so text doesn't scroll off screen too fast.

How does a level 5 priest have no buffs or heals while I have tons of offensive spells? Last I checked, my class archetype was Healer.

I don't know if it's even worth playing while waiting for Aika. I'll probably hop back on later tonight. The starting zone is just too overcamped right now, and this crappy game isn't worth the hassle over it.

Tried playing a mage for a bit, I think the game is actually getting laggier for me somehow. My spells seem to have completely random charge times (lag?), random interrupts, half the button presses don't work. One more try tommorow before uninstall wizard.

I tried a summoner and had same experience, casting was a bitch. Getting attacked extended cast time or just stopped the spell, and a guaranteed spell stop if the hit connects and stuns. Had button pushing problems too.

It seemed the exact opposite for me as a summoner. I start casting, get knocked back and I still get the spell off after getting knocked back and falling down.

You could blame it on being a beta, but when you look at Aika which is a closed beta and a whole lot better.. it has no excuse to be that bad. It's like they tried too hard to make it look "nice" and half-assed on the game mechanics.

It's pretty unplayable right now due to all of the people running around now that it's open beta. I'll probably try it again in a few days and by then I hope the servers are a little less hammered.

I'm not sure if they modified the exp curve for the closed beta we've been playing or what, but it's a really light load.

It's kind of like L2. Except with less passive skills and more disables and buffs. Optional keyboard movement too. Mouse click can be turned off altogether if you'd like. My favorite feature is that you can reset your skills whenever you want for a small fee. Allowing you to take a new approach to the game.

Decided to try a Psionicist before I uninstalled and noticed the humans on empire side has a very...hitlery? mustache and hair, I had a little bit of fun with my Hitler Psionicist and then couldn't stand it anymore.

Well, after the CB2 date was announced the question of how we'd go about passing the time arose. Everyone already had a gpotato account from playing Aika. So testing this seemed like the obvious course of action. I enjoyed Corrum more than Allods. Which is laughable considering the difference in funding each game received.

This is basically what we did in grand fantasia, but one of of us was a warrior (same basic skill set, including AEs, between warrior and paladin and both could use 2H axes for maximum dps).

Worked hilariously well.

That wouldn't work too well against a boss with a hard hitting AoE. You'd need to time your shield bashes to ensure it never goes off. As a cleric I prefer just 1 paladin and 4 ranged damaged dealers. Either Riflemen, Warlocks or AoE Clerics. This maximizes my ability to take it easy.

+4 paladins means 4 people with absorb shields that wouldn't normally have them, thus being able to eat AEs at zero damage. The skill ramps up sharply in number of skills absorbed, I think.

But yeah, extra paladins probably aren't the greatest against the bosses, though they may be against the normals.

Is Grand Fantasia worth playing? Recently I've been messing around with Runes of Magic, waiting for CB2 of Aika, but it's boring so far and doesn't satisfy my weaboo desires.

Grand Fantasia is a decent game, but nothing exemplary.

The best part of it would be how powerful the player skills are. You can pull off a lot of ridiculous shit in that game. Character control is excellent and reliable, and skills give you a lot of control over the enemy's or your character's state, which is a key part of this.

Would you guys like to try Gunbound classic until CB2? It an older version so there's no broken bots and cash shop bullshit like the current official version.
The only problem would be the BR population but that shouldn't affect us as long as we keep to our own rooms. It could be great fun if we can fill up a passworded room.
There's also no need to grind so you can take it as easy as you want until AIKA CB2 comes around.
