I don't really watch TV dramas, was only going to watch this due to Boss Hiisama being there, but it seems to be an interesting enough thriller. I can't remember what show it was, maybe it was an anime, but I kinda remember another show had this same premise. The protagonist is reborn and tries to solve the mystery of his/her death, I think it was also a female protagonist. It might have also supernatural elements. Recently there's Oshi No Ko with similar theme, but it's the children of murder victim that was doing the investigating.

Japanese shoegaze is one of my favorite music genres/subgenres. Among my favorite bands are Supercar/Lama, SPOOL, 揺らぎ, my dead girlfriend, 17歳とベルリンの壁, きのこ帝国, Clams, etcetc. What are some good, great movies that have lots of shoegaze as a soundtrack? Or maybe there are some movies that capture the feel and overall atmosphere of this music genre? For example, there's Lily Chou-Chou and Lost in Translation, and I think these movies are somewhat similar to what I mean.

I just finished this kino. I don't watch dramas usually but this was really amazing from start to finish. If you like Twin Peaks, you'll love it. That last episode was brillant, I didn't expect such a good climax.

Not that anon but CANDLE JUN has always had that weird piercing, he is a weird an eccentric guy himself. I remember reading a thread on 2ch in 2010 when she married him, the anons there kept talking about how she was always attracted to weird and eccentric guys. If you look them up, they all have similar looks, she certainly has a type. But I guess she herself is a weirdo too, many notorious rumors were surrounding her in the early 00s, you never know what's real and what's fake but she's definitely not clean.

Didn't like it as much as Anaban and Shinhannin but still, it was pretty good. Expected it to be more comedic after the first episode and was pleasantly surprised when it was more serious in a good way. Comedy parts were good, too.
