How can an Arc good end possibly be written so it makes sense narratively? Ciel gives an info dump on how TA bloodlust works and how it cannot be changed, but Shiki doesn''t agree with Ciel and he thinks Arc can resist it. But then the premise of Arc normal is that she reached a point where she can't continue to resist the urge, so even going to her castle and waking her up isn't going to change anything. There has to be something more to it for a fullfilling good end I think.

Yes, she's pretty much the same as CM. Each TA is an incarnation of the CM and their own being simultaneously. Messing up CM's "plan" whatever it is, is probably something like Arcueid retaining her identity and coexisting with her CM component so they don't become antagonistic. Hime has no name "yet" but Shiki did start calling her Arcueid and she appears as "True Ancestor Arcueid". So it may be something like them going off scrip despite being his incarnation. I just noticed Roa turns into lighting when he stabs Shiki on day 12. It's not stated in the text but the visuals depict it clearly. His legs are shown for an instant, then he disappears and a trail of lighting remains before reappearing behind Shiki. Pic related it's Roa.

Of course quality plays a role and how like he said, you have to adjust your posture and really get into a VN. It's more focused and memorable even in just how you experience it.
