Trainspotting is the one aspect of nerd culture I just can't understand after all this time.

Cosplaying,
Guro,
Vore,
Traps,
Kigs,
Dolls,
Train modeling and aquiring a related knowledge-base I can understand...

But trainspotting?
On some lines here at EVERY STOP there's a couple of guys with cameras waiting for some kind of rare train to pass by. I mean you can just look up the schedule and the train will surely pass by, it's no mystery. You can go ahead and ride on it, it's not some high-class luxury... sheesh.

Ride? On my waifu?

I don't think so, sir.

So what's the easy modo about?

I rather walk in feet than riding a train?

It appears to be about models or something. The kimoi is replaced by furui.

I never understand japan and their obsessions anyway!

But i hear ya.

It's one of the original otaku obsessions from a mystical magial time when anime wasn't as moe, otaku weren't as reviled and trains weren't as plentiful.

>> No.4358557

Or maybe train lines?

They do this in America too. You haven't trainspotted until you've spotted an F40PH
