In fairness, learning Starcraft is a bitch and a half, and I don't think many people know good custom maps for it. I know I sure as hell don't. WC3 stole all my custom map playing time, and I came into the game when it was already in its death throes

Hi, I'm Anon 2, another player who's joining OP. We don't mind if you're going to post your opinions or whatever. However, we're here to play War3, not to discuss how shitty the game itself is or how popular it is, this goes in /v/, I don't see the point of suggesting any other games with no /jp/ related mods/maps whatsoever.

We know, SC1 is awesome, yes, we like it more than War3, if you allow us to explain what we want instead of posting random shit, we're also playing SC1!
Only UMS/Custom maps though. War3 itself sucks, SC1 is not perfect, and I agree with/don't mind most of your opinions. I specifically dislike DotA, so we're not playing it as long as no one requests a DotA-like map, in case someone does, it depends on the quality of the map, most 2D DotA maps suck, even the TYPE-MOON related maps.

We just want to play for the fun factor with everyone who's interested in /jp/ related, nice maps, for ex, Fate/Another(War3 map) and Flower of Ice(SC1 map).

So please, post if you want to play with us, we'll be here for a while.

I see. I'm still playing SC1, mostly because SC2 Beta is coming later this month, we found decents maps, and for the nostalgia factor. We, of course, play any non-shitty map in SC1, but that can change.

If you're interesting in our maps, we can meet in SC1's US East Gateway and iCCup/Abyss for War3. Our channel in both games is called /jp/.

Unless you want to play shitty versions, yes. The translations aren't up to date, but maps like Flower of Ice for SC1 are easy to understand/translated.
