Can a fetus even be immortal? That would imply the mother remains in a state of pregnancy for her whole life.

>> No.433633

>>433600
If by immortal you mean "unchanging in form", then probably yes. However, most conventional terms of immortality mean that whoever it is is unkillable, but still grows until they hit the peak of their otherwise current lifespan, or if after their peak, then it freezes them at that age.

I spent way too much time on this post.

>> No.433652

>>433633

But aren't Mokou and Kaguya still in adolescent form because they took the elixir at that age, so they forever look 15 or whatever? One would think that if a fetus took the elixir, it would forever be a fetus.

>> No.433653

>>433633
This is ZUN immortality we're talking about here. Kaguya will be, at the least, a young teenager for her whole, long unending life.

Depends on what kind of "immortality" shtick you're looking at. Trying to accomplish immortality through some sort of scientific measures normally results in being killable, but won't die from old age. Most things with magic generally just say "freeze this person's age/state in place" and generally can be either unkillable or killable.

Some crazy Wolverine-styled regeneration mutation and said "scientific immortality", with some sort of pituitary gland disorder, would result in immortal, nigh-unkillable lolis of death, from aborted fetuses.

...Jesus Christ, did I really just type that?

Only if she did have that fun little part of her anatomy when she took the elixir. More than likely not as it tends to be lost by accident though physical activity than anything else.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boys_%28comic_book%29

"The first six issues were published by Wildstorm, starting in 2006. On January 24, 2007, the series was abruptly canceled with issue #6. Ennis later explained that this was because DC (of whom Wildstorm is an imprint) were uneasy with the anti-superhero tone of the work. [2] The planned collection of said issues was also canceled. However, Robertson said that "DC is being good about reverting our rights so we can find a new publisher and we're in the process of doing that now". [3] Ennis then released a statement telling of interest from a couple of publishers and that issue #7 and a trade of the first six issues would be available. While Darick Robertson is currently on exclusive contract to DC, he has been given special dispensation to continue working on The Boys. [4] In February 2007 the series was picked up by Dynamite Entertainment and it resumed in May. A collected edition of the first six issues was also published, with a foreword by Simon Pegg. [5]"

So is it cancelled our ongoing?
