I see tailors/costume makers/whatever trying to recerate the 2D clothing in real life.

Up to now, no one has gotten it right yet.

They have to imagine and recreate that clothing or attire that, if existed on real life and was copied into a new anime by some skillful artist, would look exactly like in the anime the costume was orignally taken from. Let me give an example: marisa's hat in OP's pic. The whore could have made a big black hat like those the American Puritans used but wider and shorter and added it a ribbon and furry insides in white fabric, but no - she wears a 100% microfibre fucking misproportioned thing that has a fucked up ribbon which is almost bigger than the hat itself.

Look at the tremendous pieces of shit everyone is wearing in Yutanpo's image, for instance. Sure, they put on a lot of hard work and effort, but they don't look one inch like a real thing. For example, look at the fat whore cosplaying Aya in the right. She could have used a fine white blouse and sewn the ornaments on it, but no - that fucking shit looks dull as hell.

Another thing that everyone knows but nobody really cares about is your physical form. Take the aforementioned Aya cosplaying whale. Even if she actually wore a decent outfit, her cosplay would still be a fucking piece of shit because of her abnormally high body mass index.

And of course, the facial traits. Again to this image: >>4332120. See that Youmu in the centre? Her face is acceptable. See now the four Rans? They are all fugly. Most of their cosplays will always be shitty no matter what.
