It's really not that hard to train a character. Like you can go from zero to love in just a few sessions, even faster if you can put them in the party to sponge up some mag first so you can upgrade their willpower and stamina. Once you get past the first hurdle of getting a bit of sensitivity it's just a matter of grinding out service experience and then love exp after the first fall state. Everything else should fall into place naturally.

They were an addition, and they can just as easily be removed without affecting any major functionality.
