Plus, there are sleeping quarters there too, and Battler had time to mess around with the Stakes. I think there's been some off screen development like that. For example, I don't remember Battler liking tea so much on Rokkenjima, but he's been pretty much drinking it non stop once he got comfortable with the atmosphere on the Meta World.

Game Boards are scenarios written out and woven by the Game Master based on the Rokkenjima incident. Most Pieces are NPC's with set limitations (can't act against their nature), the GM's opponent gets to control his piece.

I forget some parts of the fiction theory. How does the red text work? More specifically, how is its red text work in relation to specific games, such as 'no one escapes, all die?' for Ep4. My understanding is the fiction theory end has Eva surviving, the disaster/explosion happening, and everything else being obscure, but can't happen if all die.

How many days to go through each episode? Battler and Beato and everyone would still need to sleep. Plus Battler takes some time up in EP4 to be emo, EP5 is probably shorter but Battler spends a while deaf, and in between EP4 and 5 Beato is all comatose for a while. Red Text is probably just a rule for the games like what Beato said in EP2. At that point, Battler had no fucking trust for what she's saying, and that's not how the mystery solving game is supposed to go so she had to force him to.

Blue is just to force her to use the Red.

Gold is, fuck I dunno. My theory is that it states one of the premises or guarantees of the story. Note how Battler says in Red that there is no objective way to prove that the corpse was Kinzo, thus it can't be done with human means. Dlanor trapped him in an error. So he busted out the guarantee which overrides everything. Dlanor and him talked about that a bit during tea.

Battler says "yada yada and Shannon are in a room" in red, then Erika asks him to repeat that everyone else is in the cousins room. Battler refuses, saying this would include Kinzo, --but he would be fine listing them off by name (including Kanon)-- and then --makes a mental note to himself that he could say it that way--.

Unless he was lying to HIMSELF, he could have said in red that Shannon and Kanon were in different places.


It also doesn't mesh with the body count in Episodes 1 and 3 (since we know there's 2 corpses, one for each) considering "The only person who can claim Kanon's name is the original person", the name can't have been transferred.


FURTHERMORE, it goes against characterization and is just generally retarded all together. How did they keep it a secret from everyone in the mansion for nearly 3 years? Natsuhi could barely fool her relatives for a few days! With work schedules, them both doing different work, having to work same days sometimes, etc, it's just not possible.

I thought I would bawww, but only as much as I do every time I read the ????.

But Beato at the beginning...oh god. I thought that was going to kill me. And then I got to Battler crying, and it was perfect. So full of bawww, but so perfect. He sounds like he's been stabbed, like he's coughing up blood and his throat is gargling but he doesn't care, because he has to ;_; for his waifu.

So far, there's this pair of incredible doujin drama CDs. They're each about eighty minutes long, have awesome amateur seiyuu, and even play the proper music.

The first dealt with the end of Alliance, starting from Ange breaking into Maria and Beatrice's Golden Land, all the way through to more than half of the tea party. It's powerful fucking stuff. Some of the amateur seiyuu are miles ahead of the ones in the anime. The second time I played the drama CD, I had the exact scenes on in the VN. IT WAS LIKE IT WAS REALLY VOICED.

The second drama CD dealt with the end of End, including Battler's 'AND THEN... I KNEW' scene, and Beatrice's demise. Her 'liar' is especially ;_;.

Nope. That's the official drama CD.

The doujin ones, well, are much better. Mainly because they take everything word from fucking word, and actually sound like their characters. With the doujin CD, you can tell that the seiyuus are people who adore the series, and want to do their characters justice.

The VAs for the anime were awesome. Sayaka Ohara's voice, especially in that one voice clip where she trolls you and says she'll confuse your penis every morning by being your little sister...she has a glorious troll voice.

But no matter how amazing the anime VAs are, nothing could ever top the EP5 drama CD, especially the EP5 one. Battler...well, Anon said it best. He really does sound gargly and dead and like he doesn't give a fuck because he just made a sandcastle.

I haven't listened to all of them myself, as I haven't been able to find complete downloads for them all, but the official drama CDs are supposedly very good as well. It's just that only a couple were made, and only covering a few parts.
