Also /jp/ plush thread.

Why are fumos so popular compared to other otaku plushies, are they overrated?

They're popular because I get to see cute boys cum on them and them slowly get crusty from all the soaked in cum.

I never got why they're so popular.
>Overpriced
>ugly
>made out of cheap materials
>not soft at all

I still got my Flan fumo though. I take her everywhere in spite that.

can I see her anon? Also i agree. My issue with fumos is they are so dull and cheap looking, like if they were picked from a claw machine or were made from an offbrand chinese distributor. I also agree that they are not soft at all, it is odd that the /jp/ official plush is such a low tier doll. There are so many more anime plushies that look better than fumos like
>pic related
Look at how much softer the plushie is, and how nicer the stitched details look, than that soulless felt doll in the OP

I really dislike the hair of this plushie, it looks like a carpet not hair
You're right on the eyes though

I'd say custom fumos are what fumos should be in the first place, but those go for over $200

V1 fumos are pretty soft, but V1.5 and V2 fumos are what they sell nowadays and I agree they aren't very soft.
