Another thing to note is that after they actually reach a bathroom, they'll teleport again to change clothes, even if they're already naked from being in the bathroom. The player character automatically strips and puts their clothes back on as they enter and leave the bathroom, so it seems like the NPCs should be able to put their clothes back on, even if someone else is there.
