It is my understanding that they all do the same thing as a T89, but outside of bonus damage events it is preferable to use T89s instead because you can upgrade them while all these special ones cannot. Upgrading gives more accuracy which is a big help because nukes can miss.

choke-ay and kiso are both pretty useless but I don't know if I have anyone better to replace them with. I could use kasumi instead of one of them but she has base luck so I don't know how reliable she will be even if I give her skilled lookouts. I can give yukikaze a 3rd torpedo but then she might not cut in either. both meat cruisers have night planes I just couldn't find them in the menu. also beaver isn't k2 because I keep forgetting in between events and I don't want to have to remodernize her stats now.

Also take note of AP requirements, I took my unlock or w/e fleet and got to LD and was surprised when I kept getting surprise butt sex. Turns out LD fleet requires way more fighter bombers and less of the crap you were taking earlier.

Oh, and remember that all debuff uses SF not CF. So you can save effort there, no need to dismantle your LD fleet.
And second tip, 2 of the debuff nodes if you're following zkms doesn't require LBAS, so if you miss out on the LBAS AS requirement after clearing one of those, don't be an idiot like me and keep running that fleet again only to find out I could have went on to the next step instead.

Just finished E3, Fumi does in fact do incredible damage, and I used the torpedo+periscope cutin on her for the middle boss. The debuffed last boss takes a lot of bonus damage from Nagato touch, the friend fleet, Kiso, and my chuuha'd Tone who finished the job. The airsub node was utter bullshit again so I sent 3 LBAS waves there (2 tokai + 2 fighters in one base, 4th wave to the boss with 2 343's and 2 Nonakas), and that was enough for Fuyutsuki to shoot them down. The worst part was the unlocking and debuffing took forever. It added up to a whole day of doing gimmicks.

Don't remember where I read that Noshiro has a special effect in E6-4, so you can use her in E2p3 too.
For Kitakami, use Kiso I suppose. Keep in mind having at least one CLT in E3 CTF helps a lot.
There's no real replacement for Mogami, as no other CAV can use opening torp. Use Choukai if you want DA or Prinz for torp cut-in, it's really all I can think of.
