How much loyalty is needed for affection?

Depends on alignment and whether or not you have Mysterious Charm on the MC, it can range anywhere from 8k to 20k, unless you're going for same sex friendship where for some reason they need 40-60k. They still get affection too but that disappears after you contract them with a blood oath, so dont worry about them pushing you down
The general idea is the closer you're alignments are, the less loyalty you'll need. Say you're Dark/Chaos, you'll have an easy time get another Dark/Chaos to fall for you but a harder time getting a Light/Law to. Staying neutral in both areas keeps it from getting as hard as it possibly could be because there is no total opposite to Neutral, just adjacent alignments
